German developer Headup Games is bringing a new RTS franchise to our PC's this November with Trapped Death. The RTS game taps inspiration from 80's horror movies and hordes of zombies making it a combination of games like "Commandos" and "Desperados"  meets Left for Dead. The game will be played from an isometric 3rd person viewpoint and will feature 4-player co-op.



The Zombie survival scenario takes place in the early 80's in small-town middle America. Story wise, it's standard zombie fare with a twist: This time the virus comes from a strain of genetically modified corn. Once the townsfolk are bitten by an infected dog, the rest is history. Two college kids are thrown into the middle of things during an otherwise uneventful road trip, and the chaos ensues from there.

Trapped Dead releases exclusively for PC near the end of November 2010.
